QuizMaker Pro 6.2 is a full-featured
application which generates, administers, archives, and scores multiple
choice, matching, and short answer tests. In this program, the user
(teacher) can:
- Create and save multiple choice, matching, or short answer
tests.
- Edit previous tests.
- Link tests of different kinds together to be graded as one.
- Have the computer administer the tests to students, notify
students of their scores, allow them to review missed questions, see
scores in a file accessible to the teacher only.
- Print copies of the test or print the scores for the class.
- Include pictures, movies, sounds, and explanations to
accompany each question.
- Analyze test results by class or by test.
- Export tests, name lists, scores for formatting in a word
processor.
- Use many other features.

Version 6.01 (November 19, 2006)
- Import names now correctly handles names in the Last Name, First Name format
- Setting “Total Test Time” in a Short Answer module no longer causes the program to quit.
- Fixed situation where per question timer and total test timer both fired causing double reporting of misses.
- A Test with only 1 “take” now correctly appears in the See Scores window.

Fixes:
- Total questions verified to avoid a previous bug.
- Adding questions to a previous test now updates the "give total" thus eliminating what many users thought was a bug.
- Mac and Windows versions will now correctly read tests created on the other platform (though Styles are not preserved.)

Following quickly on the heels of release 5.5, version 5.6 adds 3
user-requested features and a few bug fixes.
New Features:
- Added ability to speak questions and answers while taking a test
- Added option to prohibit seeing scores when finished on a test by test basis.
- Help now available while taking a test. Added Menu shortcut.
- Clearer instructions when adding an individual name not connected to a class
- Added an error catch when QMPro encounters a corrupted quiz file.
- Fixed bug: After showing a picture during test, entering via keyboard would no longer work.
- Fixed bug: App would crash when dismissing the Results Screen with return

System Requirements:
Windows Platform:
- QMPro has been tested on Windows XP and Vista Home Edition. It is designed to run on Windows 2000 or later.
- It performs nicely with 256 MB of RAM. Very large tests or
heavy multimedia use (Picts and sounds) may require more memory.
- The full Windows install uses less than 10 MB of disk space.
- QMPro runs best on a monitor capable of at least 800x600
resolution. A 17-inch monitor will handle that requirement. Since the
Windows version runs in a Multiple-Document interface, users of smaller
monitors can scroll the windows to see all of the area, although this
is not recommended.
- (optional) QuickTime required for showing .tiff and JPEG
formats
Macintosh Platform:
- QMPro has been tested on OS 10.4(Tiger) and OS 10.5(Leopard). It is designed run on OS 10.2 or later.
- Version 6.2 is a Universal Binary build which will run natively on Intel Macs and PPC Macs.
- It will run with 256 MB of RAM. 512 MB or more is recommended.
- The Macintosh install uses less than 21 MB of disk space.
- QMPro for Mac requires a monitor capable of at least 800x600 resolution. A 17-inch monitor will handle that requirement.
